Tomoko Katsurayama, a seasoned global business expert, boasts a two-decade career highlighted by pivotal roles at prestigious entities including Nike Japan, Amazon Japan, and GLOBIS Asia Pacific. Currently the President and CEO of GLOBIS Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd., she is renowned for fostering business growth on a global scale.
Simultaneously, Tomoko has taught strategy and marketing at GOBIS University for over a decade, aligning with GLOBIS' "Find your purpose, make an impact" philosophy to nurture purpose-driven leaders who catalyze positive change. Drawing inspiration from Japanese elements and extensive Asian experience, she underscores the significance of purpose-driven management, employee engagement, self-compassion, and well-being in achieving sustainable success.
With a rich background in Japanese and US firms, Tomoko's distinctive perspective resonates with the secrets of enduring businesses, notably those of Japan's historical longevity. Mr. Joe Tofield
Director, Lingua Learn
Originally from London, Joe has resided in Singapore for over a decade, with international postings in Amsterdam and Sydney. He joined the British Council in 2012, fostering the growth of their Professional Development Centre across various Asian regions.
Joe's expertise in programme management and design led him to the role of Regional Manager at the International Baccalaureate in 2019, overseeing teacher training departments of 1,300 schools in the Asia Pacific. His journey continued as he became Director of Lingua Learn in May 2023.
Beyond his official roles, Joe chaired the British Chamber of Commerce committees, winning awards for Diversity and Inclusion, and Young Professional of the Year. He also volunteers for Voices of Asia youth mentorship programs, aiding early-career professionals.
